New Movies and TV Series to Watch on Netflix July 2024

Netflix adds new movies and TV series (also episodes) weekly, which only means that we get to see new content on the platform every. single. week. Isn’t it awesome? Since Netflix’s major selling point is its massive library, there’s no wonder why viewers keep looking for something new – just like you. That’s why we spent our week watching all the new releases, and we’re so excited to share them with you. For this recent releases, here are our top picks that we think are worth your time.

  • Land of Bad (2024)

Land of Bad is a war movie about a group of soldiers on a mission to rescue a CIA asset from Abu Sayyaf in the Philippines – a typical rescue the hostage plot, but there’s actually more to it than that. There’s Liam Hemsworth as an inexperienced yet very determined Sgt. JJ Kinney and Russell Crowe as the experienced drone operator called Reaper. There’s a lot of intense actions and dark comedy, so if you’re into that, you’ll definitely like this film.

If you’re planning to watch this 1 hour and 40 minute movie, it’s best to make sure you have high-speed internet like Boost Infinite to enjoy this movie. If not, it might ruin your streaming experience because of low quality video and constant buffering.

  • Find Me Falling (2024)

If you’re up for a new romcom drama, then you shouldn’t wait any longer and watch this movie as soon as you can. Find Me Falling is about a famous singer who escapes to a beautiful island to relax. But things take a dark turn when he realizes his new home is a popular spot for people to, well, end it all – yep, it’s what you’re thinking about. This film tried to combine a lighthearted romantic comedy and a discussion of much more serious topic, so it might not be for everyone. But for us, it’s definitely worth watching. Although there’s a trigger warning – so keep that in mind.

  • Trolls Band Together (2024)

Trolls Band Together is the latest installment in the colorful and upbeat franchise. This time around, Poppy and Branch are back, but they’re joined by a whole new crew of characters. Did you know Branch used to be in a boy band? Yeah, it’s true! When his brother goes missing, Poppy and Branch hit the road to reunite the band and save the day. This is a great movie to watch with your kids as it imparts real life lessons that they can take with them as they grow up.

However, like what we’ve mentioned above, having fast internet is a must, especially if you’re watching with a child who can easily lose focus. If you’re looking for a reliable internet provider, you can check out Hughesnet deals to guarantee a smooth streaming experience for the whole family.

  • Simone Biles Rising (2024)

If you’re a gymnastics fan, you probably know the great Simone Biles. Something happened during the Tokyo Olympics, and the world watched as she bravely withdrew from the competition to prioritize her mental health. The great news is, we now get a chance to see what really happened to her up close and how she managed to take care of herself despite the pressure of her professional life with this docuseries. Right now, Simone Biles Rising not available on other streaming services, just Netflix.

It’s just that, sometimes, it can get a little bit overwhelming to choose what to watch next. To help you skip the hassle for this July’s new releases, here’s our top four picks that you must watch.
